Bio

J Lee and the Hoodoo Skulls hail from Surrey England. They are a four piece band that have there feet firmly planted in the muddy waters of roots music and yet a firm grip on the contemporary, and its this combination that's sets the band apart..

J Lee and the Hoodoo Skulls have recently released there second album 'Beggar's Soul.' This is a Bluesy, roots album that's littered with rocking riffs, sassy brass and in some places a nod to the age of glam rock. The bands 2nd offering has had a great response from the media with there singles being played on a plethora of radio stations including being nominated for 'Track Of The Week' on Classic Rock Radio (twice) and tipped as the band to watch in Classic Rock Magazine as well as many other publications.

They released there debut album 'Black Moon' back in 2017 to rave reviews from radio a media alike. The band were invited to support 'Shakin Stevens' on his 'All The Hits and More' tour and appeared on the Bob Harris 'Under The Apple Tree' sessions, the band also had a sync placement for there BRMC style track 'Love' for the international handbag company 'Pinko'

Lo-Fi riff laden gutsy rock with powerful vocals. A Rock'n'Roll sensibilities with an added modern anthemic spice. That'll be J Lee and the Hoodoo Skulls.
